St. Andrews Woman's Club

I have been fortunate my whole life to have been surrounded by women who understood the meaning of volunteerism. From the time I was very young, I have witnessed the spirit of what it means to step up and lend a helping hand in my community. That is why, as an adult, I wanted to set that example for my children. I am very proud to continue a tradition that I saw my mother and her friends set, and I am so happy to be doing this with the women of Saint Andrews Woman’s Club.
I have chosen as my theme the claddagh. This is an Irish symbol that stands for: love, loyalty, and friendship. All three attributes I have witnessed firsthand, at SAWC. The love the women of our club show for each other in the work we do; the loyalty we give to the club and the organizations we help; and, the friendships that we have formed while serving others has always been an inspiration to me. I have seen the dedication the women of SAWC put forth in all that we do, and have always treasured being a part of this community of women.
I hope this year is no different. I hope that all of you feel the love, loyalty, and friendship that I have always enjoyed here. With your support, I look forward to the year. I hope I can be as supportive to each of you in all the tasks we set out to undertake.
I want to thank not only the board for their time and talents, but also, to the rest of our club for the work you do on behalf of our community. I look forward to working with each of you this year.
